Let's play a game: Anywhere But Here.
Please post a pic of somewhere you'd rather be today if you weren't slaving at work or doing any of the other crappy stuff you're bound to have to be doing today.

Mine is Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. :hi:

1. OK. Here's my pic.

PA Grand Canyon. I'd give anything to be up in those mountains breathing the fresh air.

6. Yes, I need to get away from the city and get out
to the country for a while. The noise alone here is killing me...

2. Back in DC.
I've been back in Pittsburgh for 13 hours, but after living there for two years, everytime I visit DC I just want to stay and not ever leave.

48. Yes, it may seem
confusing in these types of boats, because we sit backwards. Anyway, the bow of the boat is always the front of the boat, so I'm the one on the left. Will be heading for the water shortly. My brain is overworked, so it'll be good to do something physical.

18. State Street-- Madison

Wish I was there, checked in at the Canterbury Inn, and happily ensconced at a microfilm reader at the Historical Society, furthering my facts on the Smith family for writing more of my manuscript of our family history.

I'd break for some awesome Afghani soup at Kabul for lunch, then grab a Jamba Juice at the end of the day, while I try to decide which amazing restaurant to try for dinner. Then retreat to the Fair Trade Coffeehouse, plug into the internet, and research the folks I just found so I could find more the next day.

Fortunately I'll be doing all this the first week of November!

You'd go to Theodore Roosevelt National Park? I thought anyone who isn't a geology buff (like myself) would hate that place because of its desert-like environment! :wow: I love going there and studying the badlands of ND.

I went there about five years ago and fell in love with it. I saw buffaloes, wild stallions, even wild donkeys. I love South Dakota too. And I'm nowhere near a geology buff. It's so peaceful there. :)
