"Theyre teaching witchcraft in our public schools!!!" |
|
"But teaching about Jesus is illegal - and it will get you thrown in jail!!!"
Honestly, this is the shit I was hearing on Christian Hate radio.
These fucks are batshit crazy.
Oh, and for the record - I would rather them teach witchcraft than christianity in our schools.

2. i saw coverage of an anti-harry potter rally |
|
where some wacky christians were burning harry potter books because, according to one of the organizers "harry potter seduces children with witchcraft, magic, and violence."
his solution was that parents should make children read the bible for a positive message...i guess because the bible doesn't have anything like witchcraft, magic, or violence in it? and we all know how those harry potter books are full of rape, incest, and vengeful gods.

I'm so proud of her! She's only pulling a "B" in Birth Control class, though. Watch out!

Apparently, in their eyes, Harry Potter is alive and real, not make-belief. :eyes:

8. Witchcraft? Like reading Shakesphere, for instance? |
|
I mean Macbeth is full of tales about witches!
Although I often fantasize that the ending of Macbeth is what happens to Limbaugh, Falwell, and Robertson.

is a fairy tale. I don't care if it comes out of the bible or a Harry Potter book. Just as long as it's understood that it is fiction.

13. A mother once attacked me for letting my daughters read Narnia |
|
You should have seen her face when I enlisted the help of a local pastor to tell/show her that Lewis was a devout Christian.
I'm not sure what has happened to people, but they have been brainwashed into believing anything remotely related to "fantasy" is not born of God.

15. An old pastor of mine loved the Narnia chronicles. |
|
He also loves Harry Potter and, rather surprisingly, one of his favorite movies of all time is Life of Brian. He used to crack me up. I loved going to Sunday sermons when he was there.

If they're teaching witchcraft that means that they've finally opened their minds to something besides the uberchristian hate mongering...maybe I need to reconsider sending my kids back to public school. LOL.
