The official "Get Well Soon Khashka" thread.
I've just heard from Khash ( :bounce: ) he was evacuated, but is now home - no damage thankfully. However, the poor little boy has been ill and apparently is still unwell.

So here's a  and some flowers to help him get well.

5. Good morning and thanks for the Khashka information.
I had missed seeing him on DU and knew he lived in the affected area. I'm glad his place wasn't damaged but I'm sure he's been through a lot. I hope he will be well soon.

16. Ok This Thread Ends Here!
It's getting embarrassing!

I love all you too. And I'm feeling much better and there was no damage from Rita here. Actually I was worried about datasuspect and bikewriter, but both seem to be OK.

All is well and all is well and all things will be well.
(anyone who can place that quote gets bonus points)

We were marooned by the gas shortage a few days, but made it in.

22. It's now on open forum
So folks will post messages as they see fit - and you can't stop them. :P

But I promise not to kick the thread anymore. :loveya:

As for the quotation - it is familiar, but I can't give an exact reference. I'm going to guess that it's from a major Wiccan/Pagan text.

23. We have no texts.... it's a Christian reference
And it was a misquote, it should have been:

All will be well and all will be well and all manner of things will be well.

So no bonus points for you (not that you need them).

Khash.

Probably just another dodgy stab in the dark.

27. Hmm, was that reference exceedingly old? It seemed like to me...
the origin was back in the 1400s or something?

28. Yep
What can I say? If we forget our past we can not find our future. We stand on the shoulders of giants and must never forget that.

30. I knew that I knew the quote.
It just took a little while for the reference to pop into my little head.

It has had a number of controversies floating around it - suggesting (as it can be taken to do) universalism; it has also been taken to imply the Baptism of those who die before the age of reason (as opposed to the traditional speculative theory of limbo).
