What can anyone tell me about Americrop? I have gone to their website, but I did not learn anything about what it would be like during the 10 months working with Americrop? What is it like? Do the people who are their have any freedom of their own? How strict is it? Are they super strict or do they just have slight rules? Do the leaders of the program try to indoctrinate you with any type of ideology?
I posted this in another forum, but later I realized that I posted it in the wrong place.

Just thought taking a fresh look at it backward might help, but no...
It's starting to sound like one of those Amway spinoff companies... They are weird folks and always at the top of their "it's not a pyramid" pyramid.

I used to know a couple people who did it.
I imagine that situations vary depending on where you are placed, but basically it's just like working a regular 9-5 job -- except that you're paid...well, next to nothing. I think you get paid whatever the average poverty level wage is for the area that you are assigned to.
My friends mostly had positive things to say about it -- except for the really awful pay. (They barely found an apartment they could afford, had to go without eating a night or two a week, couldn't afford clothes, etc.)
