That's one thing about LA. I can see mountains out my window. Close to beach, mountains, desert. That's why the film industry set up here: lots of locations.

But my cousin lives there and has invited me out to see her new baby. I'm going to try to make it this Fall. I hear it's really beautiful.

5. I have 2 ragdoll cats

They're about 5 years old. Litter mates. Never been seperated.

Looks like a big fat, long haired Siamese with brialliant blue eyes. I'm at work or I'd post pics. They're very docile and friendly. Called ragdolls because they flop when you touch them and constantly crave attention.

So I named them "Shukran" and "Ofwan" which means Thank you and you're welcome.

We call them Shuki and Offie.

I do care for wild birds.

Several years back an abandoned cat appeared at my back door while I was cooking supper. She was so starved I could see her ribs. So I took her in and cared for her. I could tell that she was very old and when I took her to the vet I asked how old she might be. The vet's answer was: "Off the scale." She lived five years with me until the end. We grew very close and I find it difficult to get another cat. At the time I was writing my dissertation and had to read a lot of Polish, so I named her Koska (pronounced: koshka) which means: tiny, female cat.

But a rum and coke was what I always drank when I went out. I don't go out that much anymore, so it's very nostalgic for me. That'd be my choice. Bring back some memories.
