Many people are born with an anatomy that is not standard male or female. And many other gender varient people identify somewhere between male and female.

Is it too late for you to add "other"?

18. Oh Well...

...I think that most folks on DU are either male or female anyway, and folks that picked other would be joking around most likely. I just work in the LGBT community and am used to seeing forms that have more than 2 choices for gender, so it stands out to me when I don't see that out in the rest of the world. I've grown more sensitive to the needs of transgender and intersexed people over the years.
