Edited on Tue Sep-27-05 11:12 PM by mvd
Some songs on iTunes from Gwen's CD right now. Turning on Malloy soon.

Earlier:

Sheryl Crow - Wildflower (it is elegant and up there with her others even though it's not as fun. The mood of the album reflects the moods I get in sometimes during the current political environment)

Emma Roberts again - the reason I've been wavering is because I've heard mostly samples. I think her voice put me off the first time, but it could be good bubblegum

And finally, some Toni Braxton - the new CD sounds good, and I've always liked her. Listened at a Full Album Listening Party.

2. Hi, southlandshari!
I love Michelle (The Spirit Room is a pop classic IMO, and Hotel Paper shows growth even if it lacks some of those quirky arrangements The Spirit Room had,) and I hope that Wreckers CD is out early next year. Michelle just had a baby, so the delay is understandable. :hi:

5. Hi right back, mvd!
I love Michelle Branch AND Santana, and I really like the combination of the two - really nice, laid back sound. They have a new single out, "I'm Feeling You".

Great to see you here tonight, darlin'!

18. Oh yes, he composed the whole thing
It's mostly instrumentals, one song sung by Julee Cruise, one by Jimmy Scott, and one by Angelo Badalamenti himself.

21. Oh no!
I remember those days well. And this is your second time through, right?

A great investment, if you don't already have it...

Windham Hill's "On A Starry Night" CD of lullabies from all over the world, recorded by various artists. It is incredible. And you'll listen to it well beyond its usefulness with your kids, I promise!

Hang in there!

on a C.D. with other similar pieces of French sacred music.

B.T.W. I'm pretty certain that I've misspelt solonnelle so don't quote me on this one.
