Spread the news - Do NOT use FastFloors.com! |
|
Please spread far and wide. I purchased $4800.00 worth of hardwood floor and it arrived damaged. I refused the shipment, now they are threatening me with a $2100.00 restocking fee if I don't take the shipment.
I am sorry to use the forum this way, but I don't have enough money for a lawyer. The only way I can fight them back them is online.
DON'T EVER USE FASTFLOORS.COM. THEY WILL SCREW YOU.

1. Find a pro bono lawyer or call the BBB |
|
Either way, make them replace the shipment. It's their fault, not yours.

2. Check in the yellow pages for |
|
a lawyer referral service. Oftentimes you can get a free consult. I did that once when I was having trouble with the property manager of an apartment complex I lived in. I looked up the laws myself, but then went to an attorney for a half hour free consult, got additional info, gave it to the manager, and poof, he stopped bugging me 'cause he knew I was right and he was wrong. Good luck with this!

3. How did you pay for it? |
|
If by credit card, then tell them the situation and to not pay them. If by check, stop payment. I would think that a parcel of such value would be insured, anyway.
Don't report them to the BBB. The BBB is a joke. Ripoffreport.com is always a fun site, though, to vent your frustration...
