5. Mildly scathed and enormously thankful.
But the four days without A/C and no water sucked.

100 degree temps in late September :eyes: Who ever heard of sucha thing? :grr:

7. Well, it sounds sucky, but still and all...
So glad you are your family are safe - no big property damage or anything? Any flooding in your section?

Oh hell, heres a  for you, darlin'! Glad to see you back! :bounce:

(PS - don't mind the "darlin'" stuff - apparently I'm channeling J.R. Ewing or something. I've also had Lost in Love (Air Supply) as my earworm for six days running too - which is not nearly as bad as a hurricane, but awful nevertheless!)

8. No property damage and get this: 0.3" of rain.
That's three tenths of an inch of rain from a HURRICANE! :eyes:

(And thanks for the darlin', darlin')*

*Now you have David Allen Coe for an earworm!

9. That's great news!
Things should be back in order at Richardo Manor in no time!

Thanks for the new earworm - the other one was driving me to distraction. This IS one of my favorite C&W songs:

It was all that I could do to keep from cryin'
Sometimes it seems so useless to remain
You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me by my name.
You don't have to call me Waylon Jennings
And you don't have to call me Charlie Pride.
You don't have to call me Merle Haggard, anymore.
Even though your on my fightin' side.

Chorus:
And I'll hang around as long as you will let me
And I never minded standin' in the rain.
You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me by my name.

I've heard my name a few times in your phone book
I've seen it on signs where I've laid
But the only time I know, I'll hear David Allan Coe
Is when Jesus has his final judgment day.

Chorus:

Well, I was drunk the day my Mom got outta prison.
And I went to pick her up in the rain.
But, before I could get to the station in my pickup truck
She got runned over by a damned old train.

Chorus:

So I'll hang around as long as you will let me
And I never minded standin' in the rain.
No, You don't have to call me darlin', darlin'
You never even call me, I wonder why you don't call me
Why don't you ever call me by my name.

6. Wow, she's 41?
I'd have guessed early-to-mid 30s, tops.
