Crappy crap-crap! Stupid water heaters!! |
|
I told you about the old rusty one shorting out on us. Well we got a new one and hubby and FIL put it in, but today I had no water coming out of my sink and when I went outside and looked under the trailer there was a torrent of water gushing from under the house.
Turns out the main water line had slipped out of the water heater. FIL came to the rescue and now it seems to be ok. But I am really sick of malfunctioning water heaters.
And unexpected bills. *grrr*

1. I had one of those last week |
|
I came home late from an evening meeting, walked by the WH and I heard that familiar SHHHHHHHH sound. x(
So, yes, I had to call a plumber to come out here at 11pm at night. :P
What kind of heater did you get? Mine's 19 years old.

2. The old one might have been original to the trailer so made in |
|
'89 I guess. The new one is a GE (I know, bad company but hubby was in charge of all this stuff)
I am sorry you are having trouble with yours too but at least we can be happy that we didn't end up with worse damage or electrical fires. *phew*

3. Put that malfunctioning WH on a porous old floor |
|
in a laundry room directly above the apartment you're living in and you've got what happened to me about a year ago. Was not happy.
