"suck on your glasses"
Anybody else pick up on this gem last night on the Dylan movie?

Jesus, what a world.

1. How 'bout it?
I listened to "Love & Theft" today, and while it's great....it's just not the same as '65/'66.

I'm thinking of expanding my Dylan collection as a result of that very quote.

3. Somehow it escaped me all this time that Bloomfield
/ Butterfield Blues Band played on those great records. I love Bloomfield, actually saw him play with an Electric Flag reunion in the early 70's.

4. Bloomfield was really a good player.

Growing up on the Southside of Chicago, I got exposed to a lot of the Butterfield Blues Band.

Even in the few snippets of him, it was obvious just how good he was. Al Kooper said so himself. The best part being how Kooper described putting his guitar down because Bloomfield was already in the session and then insisting that he had a great organ part...even though Kooper was talkin' out his ass.....

5. The Move!
I like all of their records, particularly "Looking On" Roy Wood at his best.

6. Looking On, Shazam, Message from the Country......
All played a big part in my adolescence.

2.  His reaction to that and "play it fucking loud" just slayed me.
He's off the charts cool.
