That's nuts! I couldn't believe that.

Oh, uh, LOL.... Ravi Shankar is a sitarist...pretty well known Indian musician.

3. He never married her mother
and she had no contact with him for ten years. I guess they made up after she became famous.

I even heard they were planning a Bollywood movie based on their story, but I don't think it was ever made.

I have her "Live in New Orleans" DVD and recommend it highly.
