I'm sitting here, with a glass full of cranberry juice...and wondering

what the hell happened to me today? I felt good this AM, went off to the gym...Did thirty minutes on the stationary bike....

After lunch, I felt tired....lay down and took a nap...woke up with some vertigo, and still felt tired.....and then my legs hurt, and so did my bladder....sorry, TMI...

Now I'm on Cipro, and have been ordered to chug Cranberry juice...
Possible bladder infection....

What in hell happened?

Bladder infections are no fun... :( I had them chronically from the time I was a little kid, and with much less frequency since I had a surplus kidney removed 30 years ago.

A couple of thoughts which you may already be aware of:

It's best to drink cranberry juice sweetened with fruit juice or unsweetened, not with sugar or corn syrup, as the sweeteners can exacerbate the problem.

Blueberry juice is also very good (some say even better) for UT/bladder health...very high in antioxidants.

Years ago the family doctor advised not to wash panties in Tide, but to use Ivory Snow. I use Bi-O-Kleen now, with no ill effects.

Make sure when you exercise that you wear undegarments that wick the moisture away from your skin.

Please pardon if this comes across too personally, my friend. I just hope you can use the tidbits of advice. :hug::hug::hug:
