On my laptop, my Shift key has started squeaking. When I type fast, it sounds like people going at it on squeaky bedsprings. I've tried using canned air to blow any gunk out of it, but to no avail.
Can ya put a drop of WD-40 on a key? Or will it make my computer burst into flames?

I wouldn't worry about flames. Any type of lube might not react well with the plastic. I would try Astroglide first. That is very slippery and is water soluble. And if it doesn't work.. Well, you can use it for lots of other things. It is a way to check if a lube might help. With a touch of seriousness.
