Introducing a kitten question |
|
Okay, I have two cats: an eight-year-old female and a two-year-old male. The female is God. The Diva. The Ruler of the Roost. And also the ruler of her "brother," even though he is literally twice as big. I know how to introduce a kitten to a household, but my question is this: is there any fear that God will be usurped as the "alpha cat" of the house? My partner is concerned about this, in case the kitten tried to wrest power away from God ala Lucifer. She's afraid God would be miserable if this happened. Okay, all of you cat people: help me here!
(btw... my cat's names isn't REALLY God....)

Introducing a kitten is probably the best way, it'll figure out who is god. An adult cat might have power issues, but kittens generally go with the program - especially if you let God help raise it.
Khash the Kat Boy.
(So what is her name?)

God's name is Punkers... because her head is quite pumpkin-like (she's an Exotic) and she is a little punk!
