I'm leaning towards the Yamaha(Morphous) but give me your opinion.

Yamaha morphous $300 less more storage

honda reflex

1. i'd say either
don't know how many CC's the Yamaha is (the Reflex is 250cc)

now, the next one up for the Honda is called the Silverwing. not sure how that compares to the Yamaha as well.

i'd bet that either is a great choice.

 if you decide to do it

2. ok. just glanced at the Yamaha
very nice. also 250cc

one thing to consider. don't know if the Yamaha comes with a taller windshield or not.

the low windshield on the Reflex is only on the 'sport' model. the taller 'touring' windshield works wonders on my Honda.

other than that, i'll be either will work for you

3. Thanks
I'm looking into both, my neighbor just got the reflex he wanted the Yamaha, they have a negitive 2.9%, 12 month deal going. but they were sold out. He bought it for his father for his birthday and it is pretty cool. The morphous has a cool name and style it has a longer wheelbase and is heavier. Still looking and thinking.

The windshield on the Yamaha is suppose to give good protection, you sit a little lower also.
I only found one review so far since it was just introduced this fall.

4. yeah, noticed it was new
have you ridden before? i hadn't but found the 375lb reflex to be no problem at all to handle

btw, i have put 90 miles on mine so far and still have just under 3/4 of a tank (and it isn't broken in yet)

6. I shared a Trumiph 650 with my brother back in the days
Until he drove off a cliff, he survived but not the bike. I also had a moped when I lived in Denmark. I guess I should test drive both, but the Yamaha, as I said, is not available in my area right now. I thought of getting a motorcycle when I moved out here to California but the scooter is even cooler, I think I could get neat box for my small dog to go along on a cruise, better than I could on a motorcycle.

9. well, i can tell you it has plenty of pickup

don't even FEEL it going through gears. can't really hear the change either.

i'm sure the Yamaha is similar. the trunk is big enough to fit my full-size helmet (with shield) and anything you can fit under it.

i brought home 3 2lt bottles of soda yesterday with room to spare if that gives you any idea.

on edit: these are going to be harder and harder to find so you might want to go with what you can find in stock sooner rather than later

5. Btw, my stepfather just bought a Yamaha scooter
My mother is shocked but dealing with it. He's been going for radiation treatment and that particular day someone other than my mother took him to the hospital.

When he came home he had a scooter in the back of the truck

8. I'm not really sure
And he's fine with the treatment. He had prostate surgery a few years ago and he started getting PSA levels again. So they felt it was best he get radiation. It's not as overpowering & weakening as getting chemotherapy and in fact one time he drove himself over for treatment

11. Might get a test drive tomorrow.
A lot of work being done on my condo right now.

I'm still researching, but for now

I 'm leaning towards Morpheus.

If I can find him in the matrix of the scooter world.
