Are you now, or have you ever been a Democrat? |
|
Just listening to Randi's montage of DeLay and his defenders harping on Earle and every last one of them says, "this DA, a democrat...a democrat...a democrat..."
I know it's nothing new, but every time I hear it I wonder how long it is until I really do hear the accusatory words:
"Are you now or have you ever been a Democrat."
I'm looking forward to saying, "Yeah. What's it to you?"
As always, thanks for the venting opportunity.

I'm on many lists... wouldn't be worth my time to deny it even if I wanted too.

3. It's funny to me that they think they can demonize us like that. |
|
I know they have, and that they will continue to try, and that it works on some people, but at some point it just becomes absurd and laughable.

7. I agree with you but.... |

Confession time. I'm a Leftist Libertarian. A registered Republican (damn it, it's Texas!). But I always vote Dem.
Please don't hate me.

10. Well I thought the registering as a Repub thing |
|
might be a problem. But I only did it so I could fuck with the primaries! Honest!

11. Ha ha. Well, look, you're open-minded, you're creative, and you're here... |
|
to me, that counts for something more than how you're registered.

8. I registered as a Democrat for my first election in Ohio |
|
In Wisconsin, we don't register for a party though. I think that you can belong to the state party, but I think it involves a monetary donation. It probably isn't very much, but I haven't found it necessary at this point.
