Then they will have guaranteed a finishing record of .500 or better, something they have not done since 1992.

Over .500 in '05

NLDS appearance in '06

World Champions in '07 I can hear the announcer saying "It's a moment this city has been waiting for for fifty years. Milwaukee has won the World Champions

Note: The Milwaukee Braves won the 1957 Series 4-3

1. And my father will have his first heart attack.
He'd be happy and shocked at the same time.

2. My eldest sister was going to college in Milwaukee....
When the Brewers won the pennant in '82. She says that it was absolute bedlam. She remembers a guy pulling up alongside her on his harley and giving her a bottle of beer.

4. My dad still has the newspaper w/ the headline.
It's one of his prized possessions(we lived in Kenosha at the time).
My dad's bachelor party was at a Brewer's game(proof that he is a huge fan).

5. I hope they do win so they can sell out Miller Park without the help of
the Cubs for once.

Disclosure: One of my parents is from Chicago so we always were a Cubs house and take secret delight in knowing the place has only sold out when the they are in town. I personally don't care much either way.
