Hey Cleveland Indian fans |
|
Buh-bye! Have a nice off-season. C.C. Sabathia is a tool.

5. You know, I'd rather see Cleveland get the WC and either Boston... |
|
or the Yankees not be involved in the post-season. Of course, that would require the Sox lose games to cleveland and I don't want that.

Sox have locked home field throughout, nothing left to do. Their lineup tonight was the Charlotte Knights.
It's all good.

8. Yah, I know what you mean. |
|
But I don't think we want to throw games (though it almost seemed as though Ozzie tried, putting the AAA team out there!) and return to the "Black Sox" era.
I'd rather face Cleveland than the Yanks or BoSox, but I'd take either over the Angels.

Just askin'. Can't misplace an apostrophe with Indian's fans, apparently. I guess if that's all you have to hang on to, go for it.

So are you a White Sox player? Because if not, you're lording other people's accomplishments over total strangers, and gloating about shit you didn't actually have anything to do with makes you look kind of pathetic. But I guess if that's all you have to hang on to...

20. Superfans don't speak normal human language, johnnie. |
|
Telling 'em it doesn't matter fails to penetrate; they can't concieve of it not mattering. Maybe it's because thier lives are so empty they have to internalize other people's achievements to compensate. Maybe it's because they failed in little-league and will never live down the disappointment they brought on their fathers. Maybe it's because their wives beat them. Or maybe they're just retards who never grew up enough to grasp that games, though great fun, have no effect on anything in the real world.
But of course, all of that is "sour grapes" because we happen to live in a city that serves as the business headquarters of the team that lost tonight's game to the team that's headquartered in the city he lives in. :eyes:

I guess that's why he can make "Indian fans" feel like complete losers. I just hope I can enjoy the off season because I was really looking forward to the few weeks of more baseball and now I have to reschedule my whole life. Oh well, I'm sure I can talk to my ex-bosses and see if they will give me my job back. Like an idiot I quit my job today thinking that the Indians would become the champs.
On edit: By the way, have a good gig tomorrow night (if you can get through tonight's loss). I would have liked to be there.

11. It was supposed to be a joke |
|
The word in your title that I was referring to is "fans". The joke was meant to be: did you mean to refer to fans plural or fan singular? Intended to be a lighthearted dig at Cleveland fans (or the perceived lack thereof).

Angels' fan? Looks like the Sox won't be facing them in the first round. Glad for that. The Angels are probably the best team in the AL.

I tend not to get too interested in baseball until the playoffs, and then I pick a favorite from whatever teams are available. I'm more of a football and hockey fan, really...

16. Well, the Indians played a lot better in the second half.... |
|
And no one expected them to finish second in the division...
We started out looking for .500
Guess we fooled them all....
Beside that, if we win the next two games, we are in the post season....

19. Actually, you're right |
|
The Indains played tremendously in the second half. Travis Haffner is a stud. Coco Crisp (great name) is a budding superstar. Their manager is top notch as well. I have problems with Sabathia. He's a tool. (BTW, most baseball writers picked the Indians to win the division before the season began).

Man the kid has some major stuff....
But his head doesn't seem to always be in the game...
He needs to hang with LaBron for a while.....
