Late night music thread: What are you all listening to tonight?? |
|
I am listening to The Cure "pornography" at the moment. Just finished with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young "Deja Vu." Prior to that, Slayer "Reign in Blood."

3. Right now, Sheryl Crow - Wildflower |

It's a great CD!
BTW, I listened to the Emma Roberts again (always give what I listen to two spins right after I get it,) and I think it was a mistake to buy it. It's even kind of satirical, intentionally or unintentionally, as an amazon.com reviewer said. It gets a C-, and that's my final answer. :-)

If you're wondering, I'll explain the Emma Roberts change: on repeat listenings, the album sounds ok for youngsters. It's not a bad album, thus the grade in the C range. But it just sounds too young to me, except for "I Wanna Be." I made it a C- because if there's satire, some of it falls flat.
I have finally learned my lesson and will listen to albums like the upcoming Ashlee Simpson a few times if possible before buying. I wasn't crazy about Ashlee's Autobiography, so that will make even more care desirable.

I've been listening to this song over and over for a week! It's freakin' AWESOME! If you have Rhapsody, pull it up and give it a listen! You'll love it! ESPECIALLY if you've ever been to Rome, Italy!

9. wow - I just listened to Deja Vu, also |
|
gorgeous evening - sitting on the front porch - played Alliotah, Haynes, & Jeremiah (Lake Shore Drive over and over and over.) Followed up with Brewer & Shipley - Tarkio Road - great album - both sides. Then it got too cold. But my next selection was going to be some Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
