3. That show is hilarious |

It's almost like a Canadian Seinfeld. Brent Butt's stand-up is great too.

6. They're definitely classics |

Haven't watched any tv in ages though (aside from downloading episodes of Lost and the Fox sunday night line-up), so I haven't been keeping up with either.

12. DU Latin scholars, help me out (everyone else, ignore): |
|
It drives me crazy when people use the term "alter ego" in this context. Shouldn't they be using the term "alter idem" (literally "a second self") instead of "alter ego" (which I still read as "best friend or bosom buddy")?

15. Well, everyone uses the term to mean what you mean... |
|
I'm just wondering if they are not, in fact, all totally wrong. I'm a beginning Latin student, so this isn't a question I have an answer to. Didn't mean to disrupt your thread--carry on. :-)

17. Yeah, see, most people I know who use colloquial Latin semi-knowledgably, |
|
don't use "alter idem." Ever. So, maybe "alter idem"--oh, hell, nevermind. I'll just ask my teacher on Monday.
