I love it when cooking experiments turn out really tasty :) |
|
I haven't tried grilling seafood on my Foreman grill until tonight . . . did some tuna steaks. I couldn't decide what I wanted to season them with, so I coated them in some herb vinegarette I had in the fridge, then sprinkled on some "Fish-Rub" seasoning I had in the cupboard. Tossed them on the grill for about 9 minutes
For a veggie, I used some of the same vinegarette, some butter and garlic and just cooked some broccolli and carrots in that mixture . . .
Okay, only drawback was I cooked the tuna just a tad too long (should have gone more like 7-8 minutes instead of 9 I think). Other than that . . . WOW.
Yummy :)
So what lovely DU lady wants me to cook 'em dinner? :)

6. Actually, they slept through the whole thing |
|
:).
They don't appear to have any interest at all in cooked and seasoned food. If it's not canned, dry or freeze-dried they ignore it.

8. Salmon and trout work good on Foreman. If fish is too THICK then it's |
|
hard to cook well on the Foreman in my experience, winds up either overdone or big cold raw section in the middle (bleah).
