They are mounting a 350 lb subwoofer into a Buick Century. http://www.cardomain.com/item/MTXT992244?ref=frogThat speaker looks like a small turbojet engine. That is not a subwoofer, that is a sonic antimaterial weapon.

I'm not sure why. It's pure, internal-combustion, capitalistic excess. And perfect.

Maybe because my own car would probably qualify for a "Pimp My RIde" show. I love when they put in TV screens for no earthly purpose.(in the trunk, in the glove compartment..) The guy on this show didn't seem very thrilled with his subwoofer, did he? Could you even use that thing?

3. Can you imagine the insurance premiums on those cars? |
|
Love the show, but dang, insuring a fully redone vehicle with 8 LCD monitors, a game console, juice bar and bubble machine must be murder...

5. I love that show, how many Bazooka tubes can we fit into this Ford Pinto? |
|
and don't forget the "Hata screens" for the back of the rear seat head rests. My favorite episode this season hands down was the pimped out Pacer.

And they probably pack only a little more punch.

the took a girl's Trans Am and put a new crate motor in it, but apart from that, you're right.
It's a shame, too (and it says a lot about their demographic), to put all that bling-bling into a car that's still, essentially, a piece of crap.
Still. I like their ideas. That would be a fun gig.
