My SO was convinced one of her neighbors had died, because there was a dead-animal smell all around the apartment. She got the superintendent to knock on the door of the 80-year old neighbor who hasn't been well lately. Fortunately, she's all right.

This ranks up there with the recent night when she got drunk and started belting out Patsy Cline's Crazy at the top of her lungs. I'm surprised no one called for an ambulance for hysterical convulsive laughter. I sure could have used a medic. :)
