I'm back
after a long weekend :D

I had a great time and I hope you did too :hi:

Now I have to work for 4 days and next Monday and Tuesday I am off again. Now that is what I call short working weeks. :bounce:

Any comments?

Envy.
Jealousy.

Actually, glad you had a good time, and I can't be to jealous, as next week I only work two days, and the week after I only work 3 days -- I'm going on vacation on the 12th!! Can't wait!

I enjoy working with computers (even though that isn't my job) and I have been asked at my workplace to help out our computer guy. That is why I am going to attend that training.

But learning new stuff is a good thing (sheesh, I sound like Martha), and it is nice to be able to get away from the normal routine of work now and then.

Been too sick to concentrate on much of anything but the DU Lounge. But I saved your PM, and will definitely look into these. We have this totally cool bookstore in Seattle that specializes in different fields, and Native American books are a big part of their inventory. I'll be heading over there in a couple of weeks.

14. It's going very, very well
I know the job inside and out, and that's 70 percent of the battle.

Mrs E and I are going to a local wrestling show Saturday; the guy who runs it wants to do a radio show on the station, and we're going to talk about that and hang out. Monday is Thanbksgiving here in Canada, so we'll be feasting on Hutterite Chicken and all the trimmimgs. And we have to do laundry, which I have to do while Mrs E is at work. Ugh...:)

I didn't know that. What is Hutterite Chicken?

Laundry .... ugh .... I hate doing it. But it has to be done. and I have no one who I can put it on. I have to do it all by myself. The curse of living alone :)

That would be great for you if you could do that show.

31. yep
We have it on what would be Columbus Day in the US; Mrs E insists on celebrating both Thanksgivings so I get to keep my US one, too:)

Hutterite Chickens are are raised by the Hutterite Colonies up here:

http://www.hutterites.org/

They have a number of colonies in Alberta; the chickens are essentially free-range chickens that are enormous for chickens; 10-12 pounds for the most part. And man are they good...

I have the bad feeling I catched a cold. Going on rides at the Stuttgart Octoberfest in rain isn't such a good idea. But I had fun :D

Guess fall has finally arrived. Could have done without it longer.

There is a really nice pub near where I live. Haven't been in a while but it has really good guiness :9

28. Sage drops and hot tea
and Angocin. That normally helps if I take it at the first signs of a cold. But it might be that I started to late this time. I will see.

I can understand why you don't want to leave the house. I would have stayed tucked in bed if it wouldn't have been for work.

I'm happy for you that you've been able to grow up with their love.

My mother was born in Ohio. It's very possible that she returned to her family when she left my father 55 years ago so it seems like a logical place to start looking.
