My son is 18 years old today
It feels surreal. It's impossible that someone as young as I (well, as young as I feel) is a legal adult.

How the hell is it possible that it's been 18 years?

4. I'll remind him
I think he also has to go to the post office and register for the selective service.

8. Congratulations on the birthday of your wonderful son!
I am most relieved to hear that he now plans to attend college....

Even if he is keeping his options open, once he gets on campus......

He will be exposed to many different points of view and hopefully this will help him turn away from the military option.......

Congratulations on having done such a superb job of raising him!

He is a CUTIE!

11. Isn't it amazing?
My oldest daughter is 25, married and has two kids! My younger daughter is 23 and is getting married next June! My son turns 18 this December.

It seems like just yesterday they were all little kids.

Congratulations on his birthday. What a milestone - I vaguely remember it. :eyes:

13. What a coincidence. My mom's son is 49 today.
Tell him grandpa Johnny wishes him a happy birthday. He looks like a swell guy.
Many of the world's best people have October 4 birthdays -- Susan Sarandon, Buster Keaton. Him. Me.
John
Charlton Heston, too -- but what the hell.

15. *hugs* I have 11 more years to go .. well 10 and a half... before I
have to face that situation. But if it goes as fast as the past 7 years, oh man it's just around the corner!

16. Congrats to you both! Your son is very handsome.
Is he your oldest? The years fly by, don't they? I'm sure you've paid your dues.

My son will be 12 in Novemember and my daughter turns 9 in a few weeks. Yes, the Teenage Years are still looming for me....Ugh.

Much happiness to you and yours,
~Shine
