My neighbors are looking at me funny.

I'm a pretty big history buff, especially the WWII era. Well, in my living room, I have Ellen's talk show in the background, but my computer desk is near my apartment door. Well, I've been researching Nazi Germany over the past few weeks, focusing on the Nazi propaganda, Goebbels, and watching Hitler's speeches in German with english subtitles.

Well, I lost some of my hearing from being in the military so I tend to have things a little loud. I'm also doing my laundry. (We have a community laundry room in my building). Well, I was watching Hitler's speech to the Reichstag on 11 December 1941 that declared war against the allies, and I needed to go and throw my towels in the drier. My neighbor's face turned white when I came out of my apartment and just kind of gazed at me while I went about my business. I think its particularly funny that I have a Hebrew first name, and a traditionally Jewish last name.

Maybe I just have a dark sense of humor. :shrug:

I have an 8' X 5' upside down flag stapled to my house and my
neighbors ring the bell and tell me I should "fix it". I just
laugh and tell them that I will as soon as * and co. are out of
the picture.

At least have a pair of shorts to wear to the laundry room! Thats probably why you got the looks.
