...were gay, and they spent the episode trying to find out who they were.

And in the end it was two unstereotypically gay guys who were "in" on the gay-hunt, and they kiss Norm on the cheeks.

I always figured Norm was gay... he spent all that time trying to avoid having sex with his wife.
