Does anyone know how much adult braces cost?

I am going to break down and finally get them since I have decent dental insurance and can afford it finally. (The fact that I am losing a baby tooth in the wrong spot also helps. ;) )

1. I'm guessing around 4000.00, would there be a reason they

would be less for adults than for kids? Doesn't it depend on what you're getting fixed and how long you will have them on?

and I paid $99 a month for almost 3 years.

4. yes it was

my dental at the time didn't cover any of it, but it did cover the extractions I needed for them.
I guess it didn't seem so bad since it was paid over a long period of time.
I have to say it was worth every penny, if I knew how to post pics I would post one of my pretty smile.

for that will be lower.
