Today's ZINGS!
From today's issue of the Tallahassee Democrat:

• The intelligent designer should figure out instant messaging.

• Eight years of peace and prosperity with Bill Clinton. Let's try something new: Hillary for president.

• The reason that some Americans don't want to question oil companies is because many have shifted their stock portfolio to fuel and energy.

• If the recent increase in gas prices has made it difficult for you to pay your credit card bills, you have bigger problems than driving a gas guzzler.

• It's too bad that human-generated hot air isn't a viable energy source.

• If we can have 40,000 miles of interstate highways, why can't we have 2,000 miles of border fence?

I have decided that today will be the last day I post the Zings, Folks. No one seems to be interested in them. If you DO like to read them, let me know, but every time I post them, they just drop like a stone.

1. Heck
If human generated hot air were a viable energy source, Freak Repugnant could provide enough energy for the entire US for the remainder of the century (at least).

He was so worth it though. A few traces of SouthernAvenger remain if you do a search, though you've missed the juiciest stuff (which the mods n00k3d).

Edit: Good night:hi:

I'm really from ORD (or PHX if you go back far enough...)

IRK=Kirksville; I work in the airline industry over the summer and should kick the habit of abbreviating cities like this :banghead:

Good night again, and I mean it this time (I think:popcorn:)

8. Did you see his "Islam a religion of Peace?" thread?
The mods n00ked it, so don't go looking for it, but he started it the minute he discovered he could, probably the juiciest thread of them all.

9. Why stop at 2000 miles of fence? Let's do all 20,000 miles, including the
entire coast lines, the canadian border and a big ass fence all the fucking way around alaska AND hawaii?

DO it!! Just DO it!

11. I look at them most mornings.
and generally get a smile out of a few (though several culturally specific references pass me by).

The problem is that they're not usually things to which one can reply - thus they sink because they don't get reply postings even if folk are  at them.
