No good deed goes unpunished. A rant. |

Someday I'll learn.
Yesterday the UPS delivery guy asked if he could leave a delivery for another tenant in our complex with us as they were out to lunch. I accepted the three 2'x 2'x 3'parcels and stacked them in our reception area for what I believed would be a very short period.
Upon returning from lunch, the tenants we thought the delivery was intended for told me that the the parcels were not theirs but rather a former occupant of their suite.
During the last day and a half we have placed five calls to UPS asking that they pick up the packages. Their response has been that they will when they can. No guarantee if it will be today, tomorrow, or later this week.
To make a long story longer, I was able to track down the previous tenant who the delivery was meant for. She said that there should actually be four items and wants us to call her when the entire shipment has been received so she will not have to make more than one trip. UFB.
I advised her as calmly as possible that she will find the boxes we have next to the dumpster.
