Help! Heating up quiche.... |
I bought some lovely little quichies for the bf and I to enjoy tonight. What's the best way to heat 'em up? Should I heat 'em in the oven, use a convection oven, or nuke 'em?

1. If you 'nuke 'em' the crust will get soggy. |
Probably best to use the oven or a convection oven.

3. I would heat them in the oven, but if the crust starts to get too brown |
before the filling is done, put a strip of aluminum foil around it to cover it. They will be done when a toothpick inserted in the middle of the filling comes out clean. I do this when I make quiche from scratch, but I would imagine that it would be the same for quiches that you reheat. They should give you temp and approximate time instructions. If they are fully-cooked, it should just take a few minutes to heat them through. I love quiche.:-)

They will be too soggy on the bottom. If you have a convection oven use that it's the best.
