Poll question: For whom would you have voted for the 2000 Republican nomination?
Or, for whom did you vote?

1. At least
Sen. McCain treated his supporters with respect. I also must admit that he had a fairly large grassroots campaign as well.

2. Would never
vote Repuke.
I have a hard time voting for some Dems. I am a Socialist or an FDR Democrat!

3. I wouldn't have voted for any of them but if I HAD to...
Dan Quayle is the obvious choice because he truly did not have a hope in hell of being elected, so he should be the candidate just to sabotage and dispirit the opponent's campaign. He was picked VP as Bush I's life insurance; despite all the stealing that went on under Bush, and despite the all-too-embarrassing fact that Bush I was abusing drugs to the point of puking on other countries' prime ministers, he didn't have to fear being impeached as long as the Stupidest Man in America without Alzheimer's was his VP. Whatever happened to Mr. PotatoHead anyway?

4. I did vote for John McCain! I was really sorry that he lost
Even back then, Bush* was my least favorite of all the candidates. I voted for Al Gore in the general election, the only other presidential candidate I voted for who ever won, along with Bill Clinton.:grr:

8. Same here, Rhiannon...
All those years of voting, and of "my" three presidential winners, only Clinton got to serve.

Wish there was a booing emoticon! (Not for Clinton, but for the whole mess.)

9. I'm glad I'm not the only one
I thought of voting for Perot in '92 because I was afraid my vote would jinx Clinton! LOL! I agree there should be a booing emoticon for this whole sorry mess. At least we have this one, which does not display strong enough feelings for how I feel about the whole inept, corrupt, lying, warmongering and illegal Bush* administration!:grr:

11. Actually, I *did* vote for McCain!
I live in Michigan, home of the "open primary" ballot. You can vote for whom ever you want, Dem or Repuke. A LOT of Michigan Democrats, knowing that Gore already had a lock on the Dem nomination, voted for McCain, resulting in his HUGE victory in Michigan. <snicker> I remember Bushie's folks not being real happy about that.

12. How do I say this diplomatically?
I would never consider voting republican. They go against the concept of having America with a solid infrastructure... their motives and supporters speak for themselves. They are callous and greedy and care for nobody except their corporate buddies and their "ideals", which are nothing more than giving corporations carte blanche in terms of having control and power.

14. I voted for Forbes once, long ago
I'm sure it was before the 2000 election. I would vote for absolutely anybody rather than Bush*!
