How come the Saint Louis Cardinals don't have to play anybody in the |
|
playoffs?
I mean what's the deal with the minor league team they're practicing with?

If only they'd choked at the end of the season, then the Cards would be playing the Wild Card team, which would have been the Phillies.

2. Two teams from the same division cannot play each other in the first round |
|
However, it turned out that St. Louis, who is the Number 1 seed (so to speak) is playing the number 4 seed. It is correct. It wouldn't have been fair for the Braves, who did not win as many games to play the Padres. Yet, GOPisEvil is right. If the Phils would have been in, then it would be Cards-Phils, Pads-Braves.
