My latest driving pet peeve.
Two way residential street. Parking is allowed on both sides, but because all the homes have driveways, on street parking is scattered.

Every now and then, there's a section where cars are parked on either side of the street adjacent from each other. It makes the street a bit narrower, but there's still easily enough room for cars traveling in opposite directions to pass one another (the driver just needs to stay to the right a bit more). Some drivers rather than staying to the right will drive right down the middle of the road effectively forcing a vehicle approaching from the other direction to stop and wait until the other cars passes.

My response is usually not to stop, but to continue approaching the vehicle driving down the centerline. This usually forces them to steer back to the right and continue on (most of the time they come to a dead stop). I've yet to be involved in or cause an accident by doing this. What pisses me off is the other driver traveling down the center to begin with, and what really gets me is when they give me a dirty look or curse at me as we pass each other.

Pal... there's plenty of room for both cars to pass. If you can't judge the distance between the parked cars on your right and another vehicle passing on your left, you shouldn't be driving.

3. I meant as when you keep going right at him
When you keep heading right at him they may think the same of you. They're stupid or arrogant, which makes it not register to try and pull over first.

Believe me I know what you're talking about and have had the same thing happen to me. I just give up trying to fight idiots in life.
