Hey, they came out with the new "Harry Potter" trailer
I have been waiting for this for ages. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be coming out next summer for general release. They offered a sneak peak of it.

Apparently, it looks somewhat different. I would expect that since the new director is Alfonso Cuaron, the man who made the Oscar Award winning movie "Y Tu Mama Tambien". He seems to have done a really good job.

1. Thank you!!!
Sweet! I know I'll be there on opening day.

The first film, I had gone home for Thanksgiving Break from school to see it with my parents.

The second film, I went home for break again, but this time about half of the extended family went along with us.

I wonder how many will go with us next time?

2. I don't like the movies...
The books are much better! But you all go ahead and see them. Ruin the vivid imagery only your mind's eye can show you... go ahead. See if I care!

3. I agree! The way I "see" the books is much better than the movies!
I suppose if I hadn't read the books I would enjoy the movies... but there's just no comparison between the two.

6. I think the third one will be better.
The new trailer looks like a far better and less shallow adaptation of the book. The first and second movies were directed by the director of Home Alone. The third by the director of Y tu Mama Tambien.

4. In movie two, they left out
Harry and Ron weeding the garden of the garden gnomes. I was looking forward to that scene which was so funny in the book.

5. Not until next summer?

Shit! The first two opened on Thanksgiving day. I was hoping "Azkaban" would, too.

Oh, well....
