5. All right.
Whatever floats you boat, I guess. I can't see why any of us would be supporting the white soxright now, though. I guess that's not the way I roll.

8. That's not true for me.
I'm the kind of fan who supports the team, instead of just being a kneejerker against the Yankees all the time.

Maybe they were a better team TONIGHT, but certainly not in general.

14. Forgive me.
I meant for this series, not just tonight.
I personally don't believe in "it". I think it's stupid to be so superstitious about baseball. Just like anything else in life, all possibilities are pretty much open, and it's people's decisions that make the future. I don't think the red Sox were predestined to lose to the white Sox this series, just like we weren't predestined yo win the series last year.

12. As a long suffering South Side Cub Fan,
I agree with Matcom. Congrats to the Sox. Now go out and win the whole shebang.

For all the bitter Cub fans, please control yourselves. I know Sox fans can be a bit "over the top" by personal experience especially when it comes to the Cubs, but bottom line no Chicago baseball team has won a World Series since 1908. If the Sox do it first, fair play to them. Also, the Sox have played some great baseball this season, which is more than the Cubs did.

GO SOX!!!

19. Correction
The White Sox won in 1917, making that the last time a Chicago team won the Series. :-)

18. I grew up on the south side of chicago.
I even played ball in Comiskey park way before it became US cellular field or what ever they call it now.

I was ten years old and I played left field for Lawler Park. We were playing for city champs, T-Ball.

It was exciting, although we lost. It was great to sit in the dug-out and play on the field in the stadium.

I don't care much for baseball now, but I will always root for my home team. GO CHICAGO!

21. Thanks a bunch.
At least the Red Sox tend to field good teams. It's a rare thing when the White Sox are any good at all. We can use all the help we can get from the Yankees Lite..I mean, Red Sox. :)
