I went for a 15-mile "brisk" bike ride monday evening, and I'm just NOW getting that "hit by a truck" feeling? Hands are stiff and sore, same for the legs, and I'm just TIRED....
I'm thinking side effects from my medications....

I'm a Diabetic with high blood pressure, so I'm on Avalide, Norvasc, Glucotrol, Actos and Glucophage..You know, whatever my Doctor gets the biggest kickback from the pill-peddler with....
All list fatigue and pain as possible side effects....
I TOLD my doctor I was starting this program. I TOLD him my goal was to lose 80# and be able to go 40 MPH...He said "Mmmm-Hmmm...." didn't caution me about anything or suggest a stress test...
Told my girlfriend that if this is what I have to look forward to, screw it, I'll get a Barcolounger and fresh batteries for the VCR remote, and start thinking about what colour I want my little electric scooter in....

It is not what you do or how much sleep you get the night before a big event but TWO nights before. Exercise tends to take 2-3 days to have an effect. IF you can take an Aleve (or a BC Powder) and rest. Oh stretch too.
