I was going to buy the new Stones CD on its release date - 6 September
but katrina got in the way. I finally got it today. I cranked it up loud in my garage chock full of stuff we are going to discard because of hurricane carnage. I'm 51 years old and the boys can still kick ass. Hopefully, when I'm in my 60's I can hobble down to the nearest music outlet and pick up the latest Stones CD (or whatever it will be called by then.)

1. Glad to hear thatl. I heard one song, and it sounded like
the old Stones. I was thinking of buying the CD, but I hate it when you buy a CD and it turns out that the song or two you heard is the only good shit on the album. Maybe I'll actually buy this one. Thanks. :-)

2. I'm extremely subjective
I've listened to and loved the Stones for 40 years but I would highly recommend their latest. They provide alot of tracks, but after two run throughs I want to play it again. I'll disturb the neighbors another day. Mick's voice sounds tired at times, they do throw in some slow stuff, Keith has two vocals but there are some rip snorting rock and roll tracks that urge you to nudge up the volume. Enjoy. Oh, and did I mention the lyrics?

3. Is the anti-bush song on the album?
I wasn't certain if it was or if Mick wrote it later.

6. You can sample an album before you buy it at Amazon.com
It's one way to make sure you'll like more than a few songs before you buy the album. You don't necessarily have to buy from Amazon if you like the album. But at least you'll go into a purchase with a little more confidence.
