Damn. Joss Whedon seems to hate FOX, *, and grew up loving "Blake's 7" as much as J. Michael Straczynski had!
It's also more than just a space shoot-em-up so PLEASE keep your brain with you. I know ho0llywuss doesn't want you to do that, but it's good stuff.
Also, 8 minutes of commercials (3 of them being coca-cola) and 20 of new movie promos (of which none of them were ANY good, not even the hairy potter one) were enough to keep me away, what with the asinine $9 entry cost.
But, damn, that movie is worth seeing again. Thrice even. I haven't felt this good about a movie since Star Trek VI (1991).

We both really liked it a lot. Good writing and effects. I was a bit concerned I wouldn't be able to follow it, having never seen Firefly, but it definitely stands on its own. Interesting story.

We have decided to not bother with going in the theaters anymore....
Prices are ridiculous, too many noisy people...too many sticky floors, too many commercials..etc etc...
We like being able to stop and start the movie at will and to have the comfort of our own TV room....
But this movie looks fantastic, and we do plan to see it.......
