Are you easily amused? Tell a story.
I was just looking at the peeps jousting page and thought it was funny. I'm the type of person that can be equally amused for 30 minutes reading a book on quantum mechanics, or playing with a rubber band.

Anyway, reading about the peeps reminded me of how, as a kid, I used to use regular M&Ms in a kind of "Flying Saucer demolition derby" (basically, I held one between each thumb and index finger and crashed them together, to see which one would last longest).

Did you ever do things to entertain yourself that in retrospect were pretty idiotic?

1. Got static shocks on purpose
We would scuff our feet while wearing sucks and touch metal things around my grandparents house.
We also tried to make candles by melting crayons together by putting them outside in the summer. I guess that watched crayons never melt though. It was almost miraculous as we had lost crayons accidently that way on much cooler days.

3. Tonight at the store
my friend and I totally lost it when checking out Xmas electronic toys. There was a giant turkey holding a guitar, and when I pushed the "Try Me!" button, he started throwing his turkey neck and head around as he sang Feliz Navidad. It was hilarious. So, then we made two start at once and they both used all the same head/ turkey neck movements, and then got out of sync and started banging their heads together as they sang. Am sure we looked like a couple of old drunk women....we were in tears from laughing so hard!

Yes, we are easily amused!

4. LOL - I've had many a clerk give me the evil eye for using the "Try

5. One time in the store called COSTCO...
My true love and I did go...
We pushed thirty or forty Elmos at once...
And did come the look a sconce...
And they giggled and jiggled as if one...
And all the children did run run run...
A symphony of Elmo did ensue...
While clerks and mothers did us pursue...

17. That's not all I did
There was a car battery in the garage, and I used to go and unscrew one of the caps, get a drop of acid on my finger and taste it. It was the sourest thing ever, but strangely compelling...
:silly:

12. Uuuuuuuuuhhh Yes....Especially As A Child
As a child I would spend hours lifting rocks in the backyard watching bugs and just watching birds fly overhead. Sometimes I would spend hours attempting to separate the silvery foil part of a gum wrapper from the paper part. I'm still just easily amused as an adult (probably worse). I can sit by myself for an hour doing absolutely nothing (at least it appears that way) and actually enjoy my own company and my own whirling thoughts about all kinds of things - philosophy, religion, politics, natural disasters, celebrities, race relations, etc. When my significant other sees me just sitting there communing with myself doing nothing, he asks, "What are you doing?" and I always answer, "Talking to my friends in my head". Am I insane or just easily entertained and amused?

13.  I used to give my pointer a glob of peanut butter and watch him chew f or
about an hour. I'd also wait for my dog to fall aslep then used to hide from him in my house, sneaking room to room, one step ahead of him.

15. heheheh - dogs can be so much fun, but I always get the feeling
that they're just playing along and know just what's going on when you're trying to mess with their brains.
