I've had a theory that has always been proven true. The theory is this: conservatives do not like to read book.
My evidence is the Amazon.com bestseller list.
Virtually every conservative author that releases a book (Hannity, Coulter, etc) will have initial success with the book, and it will remain in the top ten for a couple of weeks. Typically, the book will then drop into the top 100 and finally plummet down into the thousands in rank.
Liberal authors, like Al Franken and Michael Moore, remain in the top ten or 100 for weeks, even months.
Here's some examples from Amazon.com: Sean Hannity, "Let Freedom Ring," #1030 Ann Coulter, "Treason," #210 Ann Coulter, "Slander," (paperback), #1900 Bernie Goldberg, "Bias," #746 Laura Inghram, "Shut up and Sing," #113 Bill O'Reilly, "Who's Looking Out for You," #37 Bill O'Reilly, "The O'Reilly Factor," #2182 Bill O'Reilly, "The No Spin Zone," #2181 Michael Savage, "Savage Nation," #2178 Tucker Carlson, "Politics, Partisans, and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News," #5278 Mona Charen, "Useful Idiots," #3803
Al Franken, "Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right," #6 Michael Moore, "Dude, Where's My Country," #5 Michael Moore, "Stupid White Men" (published in 2002), #104 Al Franken, "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot" (published in 1996), #619 Molly Ivins, "Bushwhacked," #26 Hillary Clinton, "Living History," #289
