I'm watching "Godzilla Vs The Smog Monster," and Godzilla was flying!

1. that scene got Yoshimitsu Banno kicked out of the franchise

as a director. Tomoyuki Tanaka was in the hospital when he shot it. Banno asked Tanaka's aide to ask the producer if he should do the flying scene or not, but Tanaka was still recovering from surgery. The aid said to shoot it anyway.

He did.

Tanaka saw it sometime later, and threw a fit, fired Bannno from Toho studios too.
