damn these shows are addicting.

My only regret is I missed the first 2 episodes for season #2.

And I'm not sure who is hotter - Mike from Desparate Housewives or Sawyer from Lost (even though he's a redneck asshole)

1. Sawyer is pretty damned hot. I like it that ABC is rerunning the show
on Saturday nights. Since I have two teenagers, I have no life, so I get to watch TV to wait until they need a ride home. My 15yo got hooked on it last night before going to a friend's.

I think I am going to buy a Tivo so I don't miss any of it. I really like that show.

2. It's a long weekend and I'm hoping to get through all of them by Monday
I might just get the last 3 discs for DH so I'm caugh up by tonight before the new episode is on TV.

But then I find Lost so appealling.

Maybe someone taped the first 2 episodes of both of these shows and I can get a copy of them. I also heard that ABC family does some repeats

3. I like DH, but as it is on Sunday nights, I don't often get to
watch it. Getting the kids ready for the week and everything.

Tonight's episode looks really good though, we find out who is in the basement.

4. didn't know someone was hiding in the basement
I'm still trying to figure out who Dana is although I'm guess she's also Deidre and related somehow to Mary Alice since they seemed to look exactly alike

6. Oooh, yeah.
The character played by Alfre Woodward, whose name escapes me, and her son Matthew moved onto Wisteria Lane. We have seen Matthew and mom preparing a lovely dinner on a silver tray and then delivering it to someone chained in the basement. Matthew carries a gun, while mom carries the tray.

Very intriguing. The promo from last night showed whoever is being held bursting through the door from the cellar into the kitchen.

5. I'm watching something a little different this weekend.

Yesterday I watched The Village. I must be 1/2 way through The Woodsman. I still have Hide and Seek with Robert DeNiro and Constantine with Keanu Reeves waiting.

sorry ... the edit is regarding a slight correction to the name of one of the movies

7. Did you like the Village?
I didn't like it because I figured it out almost immediately.

I really like the director Night Shymalian (Sp?), but I thought he totally dropped the ball with that one.

9. I thought it was an interesting concept. The last time I rented a movie...
Block Buster still had tapes in the store. Now everything (except children's Disney type movies) were all on DVD.

I will say that I didn't have any problem with walking away from The Village to cook and eat supper. So - it wasn't a spellbinding thriller.

The misty woodland shots were oddly missing birds and wildlife. It had a few good moments - like when the ground gave-way under foot!

10. Obviously - I wasn't in a warm and fluffy mood around noontime yesterday.
I'm feeling quite a bit more mellow today but I'll still watch these things. I honestly don't think I've rented a movie since the Spring of 2004. Damn - the web is addicting!
