Your opinion on the movie "The Thin Red Line"
the remake, by Terence Malick.

Boring? Pretentious? Unique? Great photography? Daring?

Me: Sometimes boring, interesting use of subconcious thoughts, great photography, great performances by Nick Nolte and Jim Cavaziel, subconcious thoughts sometimes mumbled and hard to understand, great battle action scenes.

1. I wanted to love it. In some ways it was really fantastic and
in some ways it was really excrutiating. I feel like the director's intent was to make the audience understand in some small way how it felt to sit there wondering what was going to happen next and when it was going to happen. Then the battle scenes would come and be completely harrowing and chaotic. The photography was gorgeous.
