How do you like your coffee?

1. When I was a med student and did an E.R. rotation in midtown Manhattan,

I learned that "coffee regular" in NYC means with cream and sugar. You'd have to order "coffee black" to get just black coffee. I don't know if that's still the convention.

Skim milk and saccharin are not the same as cream and sugar. I don't like cream in my coffee....tastes nasty to me. And as for sugar...am hypoglycemic....so Sweet 'n' Low it is...

Big differences between those two combos.

Unfortunately, along with that being the only way I like to drink my coffee, it no real effect on me unless I drink it like this:

9. 10 rounded teaspoons to a 12-cup drip coffeemaker,

with a couple heaping teaspoons among that 10 to guarantee the right strength. If there's one thing I can't stand it's what my Mom calls dishwater coffee, or weak coffee. After it's brewed and steeped a dab of half and half to make a cup perfect.

iced coffee very light and very sweet.

I've gotten into using stevia,instead of sugar, these past five years. It's a plant-based natural sweetener that doesn't have all the chemical shit you see in those synthetic sweeteners.

I thank god for coffee every single day. Seriously. I'm hooked.
