Is there a mythology geek in the house?

I'm a mythology geek myself, but I need some info outside my usual area of expertise. Does anyone know of any good books or sites on Sumerian/Babylonian mythology? I specifically need sources dealing with the goddess Ereshkigal and the Underworld. My Google-fu is weak and Wiki, while helpful is not detailed enough for me.

(I may as well come out and say this for a Final Fantasy VII fanfic I'm plotting out so the laughing can commence. :silly:)

:hi: I've been good. Trying to survive college (I have a lab report to do, which is why I'm going to the library), trying to get rides while cursing myself for not learning how to drive, and also figuring out how to make a Vincent costume for my boyfriend. ^^

Been going back and forth down to MD to help my sister get settled in her new place (I stayed with her during Otakon). And I'm finally getting a much needed new Mac some time next week.

Funny you should mention working on a Vincent costume...I was thinking of crossplaying him for Katsucon, I've had the fabric sitting in a box for like five years. :crazy: The claw is always what tripped me up, but I guess I should be glad I procrastinated for so long because now I can do his updated look.

My grandma's ancient Singer is busted ATM though, so I may just have to recycle my Anthy dress again.

Fortunatly, my boyfriend's been working on that. Even though it won't be too comfortable he plans on using large pipes and little pieces of metal attached to a glove. It doesn't sound like something I'd want to wear around all weekend, but then, he managed to wear a pleather jacket as Squall at Otakon, so it's his call.

Somehow, all my friends and I decided to do FF7 cosplay for Ohayocon without talking to eachother first. I'm going to be RedXIII, and my Vincent and I are going to seek some revenge on Hojo XD
