10. Ours was VERY dyi and it was murderously stressful to put together but

once it started it went exactly the way we wanted it to and it was the night of our lives. Much thanks to our florist (a very close and talented friend) and our caterer (my step-father).

Some friends also made an emergency booze run when we had already ran out after 1/2 an hour. They were lifesavers.

26. It was worth every gray hair I put on my head planning the thing.

Chavez did all the fun design stuff and I got stuck with coordinating the technical logic stuff. Mental note to self, never let someone who doesn't drink (my mother) be in charge of getting the booze. All in all it was a beautiful day.
