The Hawker Hurricane as art... (image heavy warning)
Someone complimented my sig pic, and I was inspired to google search Hawker Hurricane pictures.

So....

Hurricane at sunset

Hurricane ready for takeoff

Hurricanes scramble in the desert (anti-tank varient)

Hurricanes splash a JU-88

Hurricane in night fighter paint

Hurricane doing antishipping (note rockets)

Hurricanes over Dover

Hurricane over clouds

Hurricane with Finnish markings...

(comment on Finnish hurricane: England provided hurricanes to Finnland when the Finns were at war with Russia and Russia was a German ally. When Russia turned on the Germans, the Finns joined the Germans against them, and adopted German swastika markings. When the Finns negotiated a peace with the Russians in 1943, the Finns dropped the swastika. The Finns were never so much pro-Nazi as they were anti-Russian.)

Limiting myself to ten was hard.

Made a mistake in the Finn history, here's the correction.

4. Sweet art!
Looks like the Finnish Hurricane just flamed a Polikarpov I-15.
