600 B.C.--Nostalgia
Ah, those were the days, I was ruling Athens as a archon, freeing all the citizens from Draco's laws, I mean, what the hell was he thinking, death penalty for stealing bread, insane, that's all I can say. Of course, after I finished writing the constitution, and compromising, a little too much with the rich, I was like fuck it, I'm out of here. First stop was Egypt, I met a priest there, he mentioned something about a lost Island Kingdom of Atlantis. Very interesting character, though allow me to say that Plato was WRONG on the the timeline, the location was accurate though, at least in the context of the times. BTW: Sorry I didn't write too much about Atlantis, considering I'm a hopeless procrastinator, please forgive me. :) Next stop was Lydia, the trip was interesting to say the least. King Croesus almost killed me, richest man in the world indeed, damn bastard was imprisoned after his nation, Lydia, lost the war to King Cyrus of Persia. I told him Oracles are tricky like that, don't trust them I said, plus the fact that I wasn't impressed by his wealth, he was mighty pissed at that, I never seen a man that threw a hissy fit as much as he did.

I was gone for over a decade before I went back, but I will not bore you with the details, suffice it to say that those were fun times. Hell I was a celebrity, one of the Seven Sages, trying to improve the lot of the poor in Athens, and a poet as well, been retired a while now.
